SHOW KINDNESS

Most times, ladies are fond of shouting at, walking out or even hiss at guys when they approach them for the first time especially when the guys are not attractive or good looking. Although, some guys could be so annoying in their ways of approach, walking out on them is not the best. Its not all guys that approaches you that wants to date you; he may need your help or you may even need his help. When a guy approaches you, respond, be of good composure & hear what he has to say. If at the end of the day he says what you are not interested in, reply & put him away in a polite way. This is a very serious matter that all ladies should pay attention to. TAKE A LOOK AT THIS STORY. Abraham was old and he wants his son Isaac to get married to someone from his kindred. (Isaac is a beloved rich guy with so many blessings from God & any lucky lady will pertake of the blessings). So Abraham, sent his eldest servant to go in search of the would-be wife his son. When the servant got to the city where he was sent, he sat by the well & prayed to God that any lady that comes to fetch water & gives him to drink when he asks alongside with his camels should be the right wife for Isaac. Not so long, even before he had finished praying, a beautiful virgin named Rebecca came to fetch water into her pitcher from the well. He ran to meet her & requested from her to give him a little water to drink. Rebecca responded by letting her pitcher down & letting him drink. Not only that, she also fetched water for his camels which were ten in number. And of course, we should be able to tell the story from there. The servant went to meet the family of Rebecca, he settled her family & he took her to Isaac. Isaac & Rebecca got married. Do you know the number of times Rebecca would have drawn from the well? Do you know what it takes to give camels water to drink? Do you know camel drinks a lot of water?10 of them for that matter. But here was Rebecca, she wasn't just beautiful alone, she also had virtues & good character which can take the heart of men. She was so kind to a stranger & we could see the blessings she received.(Read Genesis 24:1-67 for complete story). She became automatically a partaker of blessings since she got married to a seed from Abraham. Not only that, she later gave birth to two great nations. She found her purpose. Imagine if she had neglected the servant, she would have lost God's will for her. I believe we've learnt alot from this story. I know if we were in the position of Rebecca, most likely we would have hissed & say something like, " this man is not serious, am I his slave?", if we want to be kind, we may even drop the fetcher for him and tell him to fetch himself. Please ladies, let's be of good character. Who knows, he may be the Mr. Right you've been looking for. Let it be a daily prayer point that God should help us to always put on a good character. A good character is always needed everywhere we go. May God help us. I LOVE YOU
